This 8-day, 7-night safari adventure takes you on an unforgettable journey through Uganda’s most iconic national parks. From the diverse wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park to the thrilling gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and the breathtaking Murchison Falls, this itinerary offers a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and relaxation.

Day 1:
Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your safari guide. After a short briefing, transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. Relax after your flight and enjoy a leisurely evening as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Optional Activity: Sunset boat ride on Lake Victoria (time permitting).

Day 2:
Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting walking safari to track the endangered white rhinos on foot. After lunch, proceed to Murchison Falls, arriving in the late afternoon. Visit the Top of the Falls, where you’ll witness the powerful Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular thunderous roar!

Day 3:
Murchison Falls National Park

Start the day with a sunrise game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, hyenas, and the elusive leopards. Return for a hearty breakfast and relax at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife, including the famous shoebill stork.

Optional: Hike to the top of the falls for a more dramatic view (extra adventure!).

Day 4:
Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls for Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional Ugandan villages. Arrive at your lodge in time to relax and enjoy the cool breeze from the nearby forest.

Optional Activity: Take a community walk or visit a local tea plantation.

Day 5:
Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, head to Kibale Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Follow expert guides through the dense jungle as you track the playful primates swinging in the canopy above. Along the way, spot other primates like red-tailed monkeys and black-and-white colobus monkeys. In the afternoon, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you enter the park, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, with chances to spot elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes.

Day 6:
Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin your morning with a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, known for its large lion populations and Uganda kobs. Watch for elephants, leopards, and hyenas as they roam the savannah. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a haven for hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Witness animals cooling off by the water’s edge in this wildlife-rich region.

Optional: Evening game drive or a visit to the local community.

Day 7:
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive through Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready! Continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, arriving in the afternoon. This ancient rainforest is one of the richest ecosystems in Africa and home to over half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Day 8:
Gorilla Trekking Experience

Rise early for a briefing at the Bwindi park headquarters before heading deep into the forest for your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. Spend an awe-inspiring hour with a gorilla family—watch them feed, groom, and interact in their natural habitat. It’s a humbling and unforgettable encounter! After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then begin your transfer back to Entebbe. Optional domestic flights are available (extra cost).

Optional Extension: Spend another night in Bwindi or visit Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
