Embark on a captivating 6 days safari adventure through Zambia’s most iconic landscapes and wildlife havens. Beginning in Lusaka, Zambia’s bustling capital, this journey takes you from the serene shores of Lake Tanganyika to the awe-inspiring spectacle of Victoria Falls and the wildlife-rich South Luangwa National Park. Immerse yourself in breathtaking scenery, thrilling game drives, cultural experiences, and nature at its finest.

Day 1:
Lusaka - South Luangwa

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your safari guide who will assist with your transfer to South Luangwa National Park. Depending on your preference, you may either take a short flight or a scenic drive to the park. After arriving, you’ll check in at your lodge, where you can unwind before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive or a boat safari (depending on the lodge’s offerings). As evening sets in, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge and reflect on the day’s travel, followed by an overnight stay at your chosen accommodation.

Day 2:
Game Drive in South Luangwa

Wake up early for a thrilling morning game drive in South Luangwa, where you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and giraffes. After your drive, enjoy a hearty breakfast in the bush or return to the lodge for a relaxing meal. The afternoon can be spent unwinding at the lodge, with the option to partake in a nature walk or a cultural visit to a nearby village. As evening approaches, head out on another game drive to catch predators like lions and leopards during their most active hours. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in this wildlife haven.

Day 3:
Transfer to Lake Tanganyika

After breakfast, you’ll journey toward Lake Tanganyika, either flying to Kigoma in Tanzania or traveling to Mpulungu in Zambia, depending on your travel preferences. Once you arrive, you’ll check in to a lakeside lodge, where you can relax and take in the spectacular views of one of the world’s deepest and most ancient lakes. Enjoy some leisure time to explore the serene surroundings or simply unwind by the water, soaking in the beauty of this peaceful region. As the sun sets, enjoy a relaxing dinner with lake views, followed by an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4:
Lake Tanganyika Exploration

Spend the day exploring the pristine waters of Lake Tanganyika. After breakfast, embark on a boat cruise, where you can explore nearby islands or indulge in water activities such as snorkeling, fishing, or kayaking. The lake’s crystal-clear waters are home to vibrant aquatic life, offering an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. For lunch, enjoy a relaxed meal at your lodge or a picnic by the lake. In the afternoon, continue exploring or simply unwind in this tranquil setting. The evening is perfect for a sunset boat ride on the lake, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your lakeside accommodation.

Day 5:
Travel to Victoria Falls

On the morning of Day 5, depart for Victoria Falls, either via a flight or a scenic road trip. Once you arrive, check in at your chosen lodge and prepare for an afternoon visit to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World—Victoria Falls. Explore the falls from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides if time permits. The sight and sound of the mighty falls will leave you in awe. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Conclude the day with a delicious dinner at the lodge or a nearby restaurant.

Day 6:
Explore Victoria Falls and Departure

Afterward, you can visit the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge, where you can enjoy a walking tour or try adventurous activities such as bungee jumping. The afternoon offers time for last-minute shopping at local markets or enjoying a cultural experience, such as a visit to a nearby village. After lunch, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to Lusaka or onward to your next destination.
