Day 1:
Windhoek

Your adventure begins in Windhoek, where you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your lodge. Spend the afternoon exploring the city’s highlights, such as the Christuskirche, Independence Avenue, and the Namibia Craft Centre. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2:
Windhoek - Sossusvlei

Depart Windhoek for Sossusvlei, passing through scenic landscapes and stopping at the quaint outpost of Solitaire. Check into your lodge near Sesriem and prepare for a sunset view over the stunning desert.

Day 3:
Sossusvlei and Deadvlei

Rise early for a sunrise excursion to Sossusvlei. Climb Dune 45, visit the otherworldly Deadvlei, and explore the Sesriem Canyon, a geological wonder shaped over millions of years. Return to your lodge for an afternoon at leisure or optional activities such as quad biking or a scenic flight over the Namib Desert.

Day 4:
Sossusvlei - Swakopmund

Journey through the Namib Desert to the charming coastal town of Swakopmund. Stop at Walvis Bay to witness the large flamingo colonies and enjoy a marine cruise, spotting dolphins and Cape fur seals. Explore Swakopmund’s unique German colonial architecture and enjoy a relaxing evening by the ocean.

Day 5:
Swakopmund - Damaraland

Depart Swakopmund and travel north along the Skeleton Coast, stopping at Cape Cross Seal Reserve, home to one of the world’s largest Cape fur seal colonies. Continue inland to Damaraland, a region known for its striking rock formations and desert-adapted wildlife. Visit Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient rock engravings.

Day 6:
Damaraland - Etosha National Park

Day 7:
Etosha National Park

Day 8:
Return to Windhoek

After a final morning game drive, journey back to Windhoek, stopping at Okahandja Craft Market for last-minute souvenirs. Transfer to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable 8-day Namibian safari adventure.
