Embark on an unforgettable 8-day, 7-night safari adventure exploring Uganda’s diverse landscapes, breathtaking waterfalls, and rich wildlife. Begin your journey at Mt. Day 1:
Arrival and Exploring Mt. Elgon’s Foothills

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed by your safari guide who will transfer you to Mt. Elgon National Park. This scenic drive will take you through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, arriving at your lodge in the foothills of Mt. Elgon. After checking in and settling into your accommodation, take the evening to relax and enjoy the stunning mountain views. Dinner will be served at your lodge before retiring for a restful night.

Day 2:
Mt. Elgon National Park

After breakfast, embark on a hiking adventure through the lush terrain of Mt. Elgon National Park. Known for its unique caves and breathtaking landscapes, the park is an excellent destination for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts. Explore the Sipi Falls, a series of stunning waterfalls cascading down the mountainside, and take in the beauty of the surrounding area. You will also visit the Mude Cave, famous for its ancient bat colonies, and hike through areas where you can spot diverse bird species and other wildlife. After your hike, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy a hearty dinner.

Day 3:
Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, depart for the remote and untamed Kidepo Valley National Park. The journey takes you across the rugged landscapes of northeastern Uganda, where you can witness rural communities and vast savannahs. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge within or near the park. After lunch, take a relaxing afternoon to enjoy the stunning views of the park, with its expansive plains and dramatic mountain backdrops. In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner under the stars and prepare for the thrilling game drives that await you.

Day 4:
Kidepo Valley National Park

Start the day early with a game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and wild parks. Kidepo is famous for its rugged beauty and diverse wildlife, including species that are rare to find elsewhere in Uganda, such as cheetahs, caracals, and ostriches. You’ll also have the chance to spot large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and lions roaming the vast savannahs. After a thrilling morning, return to your lodge for lunch, then embark on a second game drive or a visit to Narus Valley, where more wildlife can be spotted against the stunning backdrop of the mountains. Dinner will be served at your lodge, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 5:
Kidepo - Murchison Falls

This morning, immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to a nearby Karamojong village. The Karamojong people are a semi-nomadic group known for their rich traditions and colorful attire. Learn about their way of life, their cattle herding practices, and their customs. After this cultural experience, enjoy lunch and then transfer to Murchison Falls National Park for the next leg of your adventure. The journey will take you through rolling landscapes, and upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 6:
Murchison Falls National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s largest and most popular game parks. The park is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and numerous bird species. After your game drive, head to the Nile River for an unforgettable boat safari. The boat will take you up to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls, where the Nile River crashes through a narrow gorge, creating one of the most powerful waterfalls in Africa. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks. Return to your lodge for lunch and relax for the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and reflect on the day’s adventures.

Day 7:
Murchison Falls and Game Drive

After breakfast, embark on a hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where you’ll be treated to a stunning view of the falls and the surrounding wilderness. The hike takes you through the lush vegetation of the park, and at the top, you’ll witness the Nile River’s powerful descent, a truly awe-inspiring sight. After the hike, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive or enjoy an optional nature walk in the park to spot more wildlife. End the day with a final sundowner as you soak in the beauty of the African savannah.

Day 8:
Murchison Falls to Entebbe

On your final day, enjoy a relaxing breakfast before transferring to Entebbe. Depending on your flight time, you can explore the city of Entebbe or visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (Entebbe Zoo), which houses various native species. Then, proceed to Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey or return flight home.
