Start with a visit to Table Mountain, either taking the iconic cable car or enjoying a scenic hike to the top for stunning panoramic views of the city, coastline, and surrounding mountains. Afterward, head to the lively V&A Waterfront to enjoy local markets, restaurants, and the atmosphere of this world-renowned area. In the afternoon, make your way to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll embark on a guided tour to learn about its historical significance, including its role as the former prison of Nelson Mandela and other anti-apartheid leaders. The island’s powerful history provides a thought-provoking look into South Africa’s struggle for freedom. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant or your hotel, sampling some of South Africa’s exquisite cuisine.

After an early breakfast, you’ll head to Cape Town International Airport for a flight to Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most famous wildlife reserves. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge, where you can settle in and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive through the Kruger National Park. The park’s diverse ecosystems, ranging from dense woodlands to open savannahs, are home to an impressive variety of wildlife. You may spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—as well as zebras, giraffes, and numerous bird species. After the game drive, enjoy dinner at your lodge under the African stars.

In the afternoon, prepare for a sunset safari, one of the most magical times to witness the park’s wildlife. As the day cools, many animals become more active, and you might encounter elephants at a watering hole or see lions silhouetted against the setting sun. End the day with a delicious dinner at the lodge, sharing stories of your wildlife encounters.

Day 6:
Morning Safari Adventure and Return

On your final morning, enjoy one last game drive in Kruger National Park. After the game drive, return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out and transferring to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight back to Cape Town or your next destination. If time allows before your flight, you can relax in the lodge’s comfortable surroundings or take in one last view of the park’s expansive wilderness.
