Day 1:
Hwange National Park

Your adventure begins with a transfer from Victoria Falls or Bulawayo to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest reserve. After checking in at Somalisa Camp, enjoy lunch before setting out on your first walking safari. Accompanied by expert guides, you will explore the park’s diverse habitats, tracking elephants, giraffes, and antelope while learning about the intricate ecosystems that sustain them. The evening ends with a sundowner at camp and a delicious bush dinner under the stars.

Day 2:
Full-Day Walking Safari in Hwange

Rise early for a full-day walking safari, allowing you to explore deeper into Hwange’s remote wilderness. Your guide will lead you through mopane woodlands and open plains, where you may encounter lions, hyenas, and even African wild dogs. The experience is thrilling yet safe, with professional rangers ensuring close but respectful encounters with wildlife. After an exhilarating day, return to Somalisa Camp, where you can unwind with a refreshing dip in the pool before dinner.

Day 3:
Morning Walk and Transfer to Mana Pools

On your final morning in Hwange, embark on a short sunrise walk, perfect for birdwatching and tracking smaller creatures like porcupines and mongooses. After breakfast, transfer by road or light aircraft to Mana Pools National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning river landscapes and large populations of elephants and hippos. Check in at Zambezi Expeditions Camp, a luxurious tented camp along the Zambezi River. Enjoy a sunset along the riverbank, where you might spot crocodiles and herds of buffalo.

Day 4:
Walking Safari in Mana Pools
