Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Victoria Falls

Welcome to Zimbabwe! Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, our safari guide will transfer you to Zambezi National Park, just upstream from the mighty Victoria Falls. Settle into your luxury lodge overlooking the Zambezi River. In the afternoon, embark on a sunset boat safari along the river, spotting elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. Enjoy dinner under the African sky at your lodge.

Day 2:
Game Drives and Walking Safari

Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy a morning game drive in search of lions, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. After breakfast, set out on a guided walking safari, learning about the region’s flora and smaller wildlife. Spend the afternoon at leisure before heading out for another exciting afternoon game drive then end the day with a bush dinner experience by the river.

Day 3:
Canoeing Safari and Victoria Falls Excursion

Start the morning with a canoeing safari along the Zambezi River, offering a unique perspective of wildlife as you glide past hippos and crocodiles. After brunch, take a short drive to Victoria Falls for a guided tour of the awe-inspiring “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (The Smoke That Thunders). Enjoy a helicopter flight over the falls (optional, at an extra cost). The return to your lodge for a relaxed evening by the river.

Day 4:
Transfer to Matusadona National Park

After breakfast, take a scenic charter flight or boat transfer to Matusadona National Park, located along the shores of Lake Kariba. Check into your luxurious lakeside lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on Lake Kariba, spotting elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and fish eagles. Unwind with sundowner drinks overlooking the lake.

Day 5:
Game Drives and Fishing Excursion

Begin the day with a morning game drive through Matusadona’s rugged landscapes, home to black rhinos, lions, leopards, and large herds of elephants. After breakfast, take an optional tiger fishing excursion on Lake Kariba, known for its trophy-sized tiger fish. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge before an evening boat safari. Then end the day with a traditional Zimbabwean dinner under the stars.

Day 6:
Sunrise Safari and Departure

On your final morning, enjoy a sunrise walking safari or one last game drive, taking in the beauty of Zimbabwe’s wilderness. After breakfast, transfer back to Victoria Falls or Kariba for your onward journey, concluding your 6-day safari adventure with memories to last a lifetime.
