This 5-days safari offers a thrilling combination of wildlife exploration at Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve and relaxation along the stunning shores of Senga Bay. Spend the first three days discovering Malawi’s largest and oldest wildlife reserve, home to elephants, antelopes, leopards, and diverse birdlife. Then, unwind at Senga Bay, where you can enjoy pristine beaches, boat rides, and cultural experiences along the shores of Lake Malawi.




Day 1:
Lilongwe - Nkhotakota
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Lilongwe International Airport. From here, enjoy a scenic drive to Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve, a haven of rugged wilderness and diverse ecosystems. After check-in at your lodge, relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings before an evening nature walk to spot wildlife at dusk.

Day 2-3:
Exploration in Nkhotakota
Wake up to the sounds of nature and set off on thrilling morning and evening game drives. With over 500 translocated elephants, Nkhotakota is a prime destination for wildlife lovers. Look out for leopards, buffalos, and various antelope species as you traverse the woodlands and riverbanks. For a deeper connection with the wild, embark on a guided walking safari, allowing you to experience the reserve from a unique perspective. In the afternoons, visit a nearby local community to learn about conservation efforts and traditional Malawian culture.
