Day 1:
Kigali - Huye (Butare)

After a short briefing, depart for Huye (formerly Butare), located about 135 kilometers south of Kigali. Along the scenic drive, you’ll pass through lush landscapes and rolling hills characteristic of Rwanda’s countryside. Upon arrival in Huye, check in at Hotel Ibis Butare, a comfortable and centrally located hotel offering traditional hospitality and modern amenities. After settling in, enjoy an introductory walking tour of Huye town, visit local markets, and get your first taste of Rwandan cuisine over dinner.
