Day 1:
Transfer to Nxai Pan National Park

Welcome to Botswana! Upon arrival at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. After a short briefing, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to rest and settle in after your journey. Enjoy the day at leisure with an optional visit to the Gaborone Game Reserve or the National Museum for a taste of Botswana’s rich heritage.

Day 2:
Nxai Pan National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Nxai Pan National Park, a place where ancient salt pans stretch as far as the eye can see. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for the famous Baines’ Baobabs and wildlife such as springbok, gemsbok, and elephants. In the evening, relax under a sky blanketed in stars.

Day 3:
Nxai Pan National Park

Spend the day exploring the vast pans on thrilling game drives. Witness the rich diversity of wildlife that flocks here, especially during the rainy season when the pans burst with life. You may encounter predators like lions and cheetahs as they stalk herds of zebra and wildebeest. Visit Baines’ Baobabs and hear tales of early explorers.

Day 4:
Nxai Pan - Makgadikgadi

After breakfast, head towards the magical Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. These endless salt flats are remnants of an ancient super-lake and offer an otherworldly beauty. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon nature walk with the San Bushmen. Learn about their ancient survival skills and deep connection with this harsh yet beautiful environment.

Day 5:
Makgadikgadi Pans

Spend the day exploring the Makgadikgadi. Enjoy a morning game drive and in the afternoon, experience an exhilarating quad biking adventure (seasonal) across the endless white salt pans. Later, sit back and watch meerkats as they scurry and forage. As night falls, relax by the campfire under the star-studded sky.

Day 6:
Makgadikgadi - Chobe National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Chobe National Park, Botswana’s elephant kingdom. Arrive in Kasane by early afternoon and check into your lodge along the Chobe River. In the late afternoon, enjoy a tranquil boat cruise along the Chobe River—watch elephants bathe and swim, and spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife.

Day 7:
Chobe National Park

Rise early for a game drive in Chobe’s riverfront area, where you may spot lions, leopards, buffaloes, and large herds of elephants. After breakfast, enjoy leisure time at the lodge before another afternoon game drive. End the day with sundowners by the riverbank.

Day 8:
Chobe - Kgalagadi

After breakfast, fly or drive to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This semi-arid wonderland is famous for its red dunes and iconic black-maned Kalahari lions. Enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for gemsbok, springbok, and cheetahs as they roam this harsh yet hauntingly beautiful landscape.

Day 9:
Kgalagadi - Moremi Game Reserve

Early breakfast before departing to the lush wetlands of Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival, settle into your camp and embark on an afternoon game drive. Moremi is a haven for wildlife, including wild dogs, leopards, and a wide range of birdlife.

Day 10:
Moremi Game Reserve

Spend your final safari day exploring Moremi on morning and afternoon game drives, or enjoy a mokoro excursion gliding silently through the waterways. Look for elephants wading through the swamps, lions lounging under trees, and leopards stealthily moving through the thickets. In the evening, gather around the campfire and toast to an unforgettable safari adventure.

Day 11:
Departure from Maun

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive en route to Maun. From there, catch your flight back home, bringing with you the incredible memories of Botswana’s breathtaking beauty and wildlife.
