Southern Trail Safaris (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to transparency and fairness in managing cancellations. Below are the terms governing cancellations for our tours.
- Customer Cancellations
1.1 Standard Tours
- More than 30 Days Before Departure: Full refund.
- 15–29 Days Before Departure: 50% refund (covers administrative costs).
- 7–14 Days Before Departure: 25% refund (due to limited rebooking time).
- Less than 7 Days Before Departure: Non-refundable (preparations are finalized).
1.2 Custom/Private Tours
- More than 45 Days Before Departure: Full refund.
- 30–44 Days Before Departure: 50% refund (covers preliminary costs).
- 15–29 Days Before Departure: 25% refund.
- Less than 15 Days Before Departure: Non-refundable (logistical commitments are in place).
- Company Cancellations
2.1 Minimum Participant Requirement
If a tour cannot proceed due to low enrollment, we will notify you 7 days prior to departure. You may choose a full refund or transfer your booking to another tour.
2.2 Unforeseen Circumstances
In cases of natural disasters, political instability, or safety concerns, we will cancel the tour and offer a full refund or reschedule your booking.

3.1 Requesting a Refund

3.2 Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 14 business days of request receipt. Timing may vary based on your payment method or financial institution.
- Non-Refundable Situations
- No Shows: No refund if you fail to attend without prior notice.
- Partial Attendance: No refunds for missed activities or early departures.
- Special Promotions: Discounted bookings are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
- Policy Updates
