Embark on an exhilarating 6-days safari adventure through Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations. This journey takes you from the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, to the primate-rich forests of Kibale National Park, and finally to the rugged wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park. Expect incredible wildlife encounters, scenic landscapes, and thrilling game drives as you explore Uganda’s breathtaking natural wonders.

Day 1:
Entebbe - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and then begin your exciting safari journey. After a short briefing, you’ll take a scenic drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most iconic wildlife destinations. This UNESCO biosphere reserve is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and a variety of antelope species. After check-in at your lodge, you can relax and enjoy dinner while taking in the stunning views of the park. If time permits, embark on a sunset boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species like pelicans and kingfishers. The boat ride is a peaceful yet thrilling way to witness the abundant wildlife along the water.

Day 2:
Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. As the sun rises, the park becomes alive with wildlife, and you’ll have the opportunity to spot the Big Four (excluding rhinos), as well as a wide variety of bird species. The park’s diverse ecosystems, including savannahs, wetlands, and forested areas, create the perfect environment for animal sightings. In the afternoon, visit the Kyambura Gorge, a stunning valley that is home to chimpanzees. Here, you will embark on a guided chimpanzee tracking experience, a chance to observe these incredible primates in their natural habitat. You can also take a nature walk in the gorge to appreciate the surrounding flora and fauna. After your adventures, enjoy dinner at your lodge and unwind after a thrilling day.

Day 3:
Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Kibale National Park, renowned for being one of the best places in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon chimpanzee trekking adventure. Kibale’s lush forests are home to a large population of chimpanzees, and during your trek, you’ll have the chance to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural environment. The forest is also home to other primates like red colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and olive baboons. In the evening, relax at your lodge and reflect on your primate encounters while enjoying a peaceful dinner.

Day 4:
Kidepo Valley National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and rugged parks, known for its stunning landscapes and incredible wildlife. The journey to Kidepo is a bit longer, but the scenic drive through rural Uganda offers a glimpse into local village life and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival in Kidepo Valley, check-in to your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Kidepo Valley is famous for its open savannahs, rugged hills, and abundant wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and African wild dogs, as well as elephants and giraffes. The park is also home to unique species like the lesser kudu, mountain reedbuck, and a variety of birds, including the rare Kori bustard. After your game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and relax while taking in the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 5:
Kidepo Valley National Park

Today, enjoy a full day of exploration in Kidepo Valley National Park. You will embark on a morning game drive to the Narus Valley, where most of the park’s wildlife is concentrated. This area is home to large herds of elephants and buffaloes, as well as predators like lions and cheetahs. The open plains and rocky outcrops provide great vantage points for spotting wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk with an experienced guide, who will introduce you to the park’s flora, smaller creatures, and indigenous plants. You can also visit the Karamojong communities that live near the park, offering a unique opportunity to learn about their traditional lifestyles and culture. In the evening, return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner and share stories of your adventures in this rugged wilderness.

Day 6:
Morning Safari and Return to Entebbe

On your final day, enjoy a morning game drive or nature walk in Kidepo Valley National Park, giving you one last chance to spot the park’s wildlife as the day breaks. The early morning is often the best time to see animals before they retreat into the shade during the hotter midday hours. After your game drive, return to your lodge for a leisurely breakfast before departing for Entebbe, where you’ll catch your flight home or continue on to your next destination. The journey to Entebbe International Airport marks the end of your 6-day safari, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.
