Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Dar es Salaam

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, our safari guide will meet and brief you on your adventure. You’ll then embark on a scenic drive to Selous Game Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s largest protected areas. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon boat safari along the Rufiji River. Enjoy sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species while soaking in the stunning riverine scenery.

Day 2:
Selous Game Reserve

Rise early for a thrilling morning game drive in search of elephants, lions, wild dogs, giraffes, and numerous other wildlife species that thrive in Selous’ vast wilderness. Later, enjoy a bush walk with an experienced ranger, where you’ll learn about animal tracks, plants, and the smaller wonders of the African bush. Return to camp for relaxation before heading out for an evening game drive.

Day 3:
Selous - Serengeti National Park (Flight Transfer)

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a charter flight to Serengeti National Park, offering breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes. Upon landing, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, spotting large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. Spend the afternoon exploring the Serengeti’s golden plains before returning for dinner under the starlit sky.

Day 4:
Game Drive and Departure

Begin your final safari day with an optional early morning hot air balloon safari (at an extra cost), a magical way to witness the Serengeti at sunrise. After breakfast, embark on one last game drive, tracking the iconic wildlife of the region. Later, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam, marking the end of your unforgettable 4-day safari adventure.
