Day 1:
Lower Zambezi National Park

Arrival in Lusaka & Transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park Welcome to Zambia! Upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, our safari representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park. Enjoy a scenic flight or drive along the Zambezi escarpment, soaking in the breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival at your lodge or luxury tented camp, settle in and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive along the Zambezi River, spotting elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. End the day with a sundowner as you watch the African sun dip below the horizon.

Day 2:
Canoe Safari and Afternoon Game Drive

Full Day Safari at Lower Zambezi National Park Rise early for a sunrise game drive, where you may encounter lions, leopards, and large herds of buffalo. After breakfast, choose between a canoe safari along the Zambezi River or a walking safari led by expert guides, offering a closer look at the park’s diverse flora and fauna. After lunch and some relaxation, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise or another game drive to explore different areas of the park. Return to your lodge for a starlit dinner by the river.

Day 3:
Transfer to Lake Tanganyika

After breakfast, bid farewell to Lower Zambezi and transfer to Lake Tanganyika, Africa’s deepest and longest freshwater lake. Enjoy a short domestic flight to Mpulungu, followed by a boat transfer to your lodge on the lake’s shores. Spend the afternoon at leisure, taking in the tranquil scenery or exploring the local fishing villages. Optional activities include snorkeling, kayaking, or a sunset cruise. Enjoy a lakeside dinner and overnight at Ndole Bay Lodge.

Day 4:
Exploring Lake Tanganyika

Wake up to the soothing sounds of the lake and embark on a morning boat safari to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of fish species. After breakfast, take part in a guided nature walk or a cultural tour of nearby villages, learning about the traditions and livelihoods of the local communities. In the afternoon, enjoy swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing on the beach. Wrap up the day with a barbecue dinner under the stars.

Day 5:
Victoria Falls

After breakfast, board a domestic flight to Livingstone, the gateway to the majestic Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, check into your luxury lodge overlooking the Zambezi River. Spend the afternoon exploring the falls on foot, taking in the spectacular views and feeling the mist on your skin. Visit the Knife Edge Bridge for one of the best vantage points. Later, embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, where you might spot hippos and elephants while enjoying drinks and snacks.

Day 6:
Victoria Falls and Departure

Start the day with an exhilarating optional activity such as a helicopter flight over the falls, bungee jumping, or a visit to Devil’s Pool for a heart-racing dip at the edge of the cascade. After breakfast, take a final guided tour of the falls or visit the nearby Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for a short game drive. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute shopping at local craft markets before being transferred to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable Zambian safari adventure.
