Experience Namibia’s incredible biodiversity, ancient geological formations, and surreal desert landscapes in a trip that will leave you in awe.

Day 1:
Etosha National Park

Your Namibian adventure begins in Windhoek, where you’ll meet your guide and set off on a scenic drive north towards Etosha National Park, Namibia’s premier wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, pass through vast open landscapes and small rural towns, getting a glimpse of Namibia’s culture and daily life. Arriving in Etosha by the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems and searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos, and vast herds of antelopes. Settle into your lodge near a floodlit waterhole, where nocturnal wildlife activity provides an exciting spectacle. Overnight stay at Okaukuejo Camp or similar.

Day 2:
Safari in Etosha

Rise early for a full-day safari in Etosha National Park, covering different areas of this vast wilderness. Drive across open plains, wooded savannahs, and the shimmering Etosha Pan, which attracts large flocks of flamingos during the rainy season. Visit some of the park’s best waterholes, where you may witness thrilling predator-prey interactions. Break for lunch at one of the park’s rest camps before continuing your game drive in the afternoon, tracking cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and herds of zebras. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening under the starry African sky. Overnight stay at Halali Camp or similar.

Day 3:
Etosha - Damaraland

After breakfast, leave the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha behind and journey into the rugged landscapes of Damaraland. Along the way, stop at a Himba cultural village to gain insight into the traditions and lifestyle of one of Namibia’s most iconic indigenous communities.
Continue to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to thousands of ancient rock engravings created by early hunter-gatherers. Explore the Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes, fascinating geological formations that tell stories of Namibia’s ancient past. In the afternoon, set off on a game drive in search of desert-adapted elephants, which have uniquely adapted to survive in this arid environment. Enjoy a stunning sunset over the rugged landscape before settling into Mowani Mountain Camp or similar for the night.

Day 4:
Damaraland - Skeleton Coast

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the rocky outcrops of Damaraland before heading west towards the eerie and mystical Skeleton Coast. This desolate coastline, named after the shipwrecks and bleached whale bones scattered along its shores, is one of the most hauntingly beautiful places in Africa. Visit Cape Cross Seal Colony, home to thousands of noisy and playful Cape fur seals. Continue along the dramatic coastal dunes and salt pans, stopping to capture the surreal landscape. Explore remnants of old shipwrecks that serve as a reminder of the treacherous waters. By evening, arrive in Swakopmund, a charming German-influenced coastal town, where you’ll check in at The Strand Hotel or similar and enjoy a delicious seafood dinner.

Day 5:
Swakopmund and Walvis Bay

Today, experience the unique coastal wonders of Namibia. Begin with a marine safari in Walvis Bay, where you’ll cruise through the lagoon in search of dolphins, seals, and pelicans. Enjoy fresh oysters and sparkling wine on board as you take in the views. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling 4×4 adventure into Sandwich Harbour, where towering dunes dramatically meet the Atlantic Ocean. Marvel at the shifting sands and the incredible contrast between desert and sea. Return to Swakopmund for an evening of relaxation or optional activities such as quad biking, sandboarding, or scenic flights over the Namib Desert. Overnight stay at The Strand Hotel or similar.

Day 6:
Return and Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Swakopmund before beginning your journey back to Windhoek. Stop along the way for scenic photos or a visit to the quirky town of Solitaire, known for its famous apple pie.
Arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 6-day Namibian safari adventure.
